| Comments: | i wasnt able to attend the march 2011 show, but the past shows iv been very displeased with the way they were operated! the guys who show up in the 90K dollar porsche and Ferrari, should be in their own class not just in the basic inport, 1st. its no where near a classic or customized, 2nd. it takes away from the others in the import class who have put 100 plus hours customizing and restoring their cars, ive seen many import classics that get passed by because of these guys and they have done NOTHING to their cars to deserve and award, except driving to the dealership and throwing money at them and then showing up and winning an award because they can buy a new car and a sweater or hat with matching logos. its a shame the car show scene has become like this! |

I'm having a car show at our annual summer safety picnic Aug. 30th from 4 pm - 8pm to kick it off. We have a couple 100 residents show up every year. However, I need some cars. We put on a show in August we have got between 65-105 cars so far and it grows every year. All of the proceeds are donated to soldiers' families and single parents in the area. We also try and buy a fixer-upper cheap and we get together and do a little work to it, and try and sell it for a profit. | Comments: | We saw your ad in a flyer from Elliots Hardware in Mesquite regarding your upcoming show in March and plan to attend. Through our mens ministry at Memosa Lane Baptist Church in Mesquite we do a Saturday quarterly ministry called "Pit Stop" that assists in minor auto repair and oil changes for women who are single parients or are on fixed incomes. We also do an "Autorama" auto show each October (around the same time period as "Good Guys" and are very interesed in your club, its ministries and functions. It's refreshing to discover that there is a club that is "Christ Centered" My compliments as your your web site is very well done. We'd love to meet some of your members at the March show we'll plan on seeing you then. |
